Hello... I am using _Willy the Dreamer_ by Anthony Browne as an introduction to a 7th grade unit on art and artists. To my amazement, Mr. Browne does not include a list of the artworks and artists "referred to" in his book. My students were also surprised by this omission. In fact, we spent a great deal of time locating copies of the various artistic take-offs, identifying artists, dates, etc. Though this was time very well spent - an impromptu treasure hunt! - I am still curious as to why Mr. Browne didn't append a list of "sources of inspiration". Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
