If I were forced to give grades these would be the only kind I would give
and the unsatisfactory only for destructive or dangerous behavior. That
would soon get the administration off the grades for library kick.

Where I come from teachers don't get paid days to do report cards. They do
them during their "free" time between 3:00 p.m. Friday the quarter ends and
8:00 a.m. Tuesday of the first week of the quarter. The Art, Music and Gym
grades have to be in the classroom teacher's hand before 3:00 p.m. on
Friday for entry on the cards. Professional Development days must be spent
in a in-service yielding CEU's.
