What do you recommend using as the official title of a web page when listing it on the Works Cited Page? Do you cite whatever is at the top of the print on the page or the title listed on the very top grey bar of the browser? What criteria do you use for determining the exact title? There are often different titles to choose from and the students are confused. For example: http://usinfo.state.gov/usa/women/ listed at the top of the browser as: Dept. of State - U.S. Society, Values & Polit... overall headings: U.S. Department of State International Information Programs U.S. Society, Values & Politics titles over text: Women in the United States Presidential Proclamation Thanks for your suggestions.
