Finally, after months of writes and rewrites, by National Board materials
are being packed up and will be in the mail tomorrow. The relief is
unbelievable! I have never written, revised, and revised this much in my
life. At night, when everyone in my house would sleep, I would creep into
the computer room and stare at the materials. I promise you, I could
actually hear the materials calling me to come and revise once more!
Well, let them call now, for it is all over except for the "Fat Lady"! For
those of you that posed questions and responded, thank you! Every question
and answer helped more people than you will ever know.
And for those of you contemplating National Boards next year, do it! It is
the most tedious fun you will ever have! Best wishes to everyone getting
ready to finalize and pack! As soon as school is out, I plan to take a few
days on the beach! Who knows, I may end up living with the crabs!
