LM_NET Archive



I use a pop-up killer that I downloaded from the internet.  I think that
someone has already offered one from the listserv, but if you'd like the URL
for the one I've got, I'll forward it to you.

It's sort of like one of those "bug zappers" that you use in the summer for
mosquitoes, flies, etc.  When something "appears" on the screen, the Pop-Up
killer zaps it.  It sometimes scares me because when I have the sound turned
on (or up loud), it makes an explosion sound like it's killing a "bug" in
the "zapper."

You can turn it off or on.  I usually use it when I go into areas that I
know will surround me with pop-ups.  It works well.
