These popups sound like spyware-generated popups. (I've read that Comet
Cursor can auto-install itself when using Internet Explorer--even on
workstations that supposedly don't allow software installations.) Try a
spyware killer like Ad-Aware. http://www.lsfileserv.com/aaw.html
