hit: Word problem solved!

Well with a bit of help online here is the solution that worked for me:
"Normal.dot template file was corrupt This was according to Microsoft
Product support (Q305166).
It basically says:
Do a 'Find Files' for Normal.dot
Rename it to Normal.old
Run "Disk Cleanup" on your hard drive and select "Temporary Files".
Now you are ready to go.

It worked for me. You may want to look at their instructions.
