HIGH INTEREST/LOW READABILITY

Hello,

I know you have read similar requests before - high
interest/low readability titles.  I have searched the
archives and have shared the info with our Reading
Teacher.  However, she is adament that most of those
titles are STILL at too high a level.  We need titles
that are written at grade 1,2, or 3 levels but have
interest for 10, 11, 12 and 13 year olds, especially
boys. We have tried DK books, too high a level.

I would appreciate any personal suggestions of titles
that you experienced slms may have come across or used
yourselves.  I will post a hit if there is interest.
