I only do original cataloging and have never purchased any pre- cataloged materials. I am on M3 (Mandarin) and find it meets all my needs. I don't like the cataloging that can be purchased for several reasons: often incorrect headings, spelling, etc.; not specific enough for me; lack of annotations - I won't put a book on the shelf until it is annoated online. I have a half-time aide, computer on my desk - and find the work is not overwhelming - last year I added 600 titles to the collection.
