<color><param>0100,0100,0100</param>Kind and helpful people, I need your help with
plagiarism in
an essay about <italic>Catch-22. </italic>I wrote some sentences in Google but
didn't get the help we (the teacher and I) need. I am
including some sentences that you might check for me if you
belong to a plagiarism site or know of a good one.
"Colonel Cathcart volunteers his men for the most perilous
missions for his own political gain. His incessant struggle
to become a general causes a barrier between him and his men.
Yossarian shows a great resentment toward the Colonel because
of his blatant disregard for the lives of his men."
"As a political satire, Catch-22 brings out the horrors of
war. But as a novel, it is a coming of age story of a man in
search of himself. When Yossarian decides to abandon the army
and move to Sweden, he is declaring his independence from the
war's horrors and from the army's indifference towards life."
The title itself makes this teacher pause in wonder...A
SERIOUS SATIRE.
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. This is one
student who doesn't need to get away with this. We have a new
entry in our handbook about plagiarism and we need to enforce
it. Thanks for any help.
