I shelve all of my nonfiction together E and upper levels. However, I have a fiction section and an E section. I am in a K-6 school. Would it be easier to shelve the E nonfiction separately too? This is just my second year as a librarian so I am still learning a lot. I find that most of the time those looking for E nonfiction are teachers who want to use the books for a unit in their classrooms, and some upper grades students who are on a lower reading level, but like the nonfiction books. I had never thought of separating them, but maybe I should.
