Puppet display

I need some ideas for displaying puppets in my elementary library. I'm =
giving up on our wooden puppet tree with bright colored knobs. It is so =
cute, but the dowels will not stay glued into the base. We have glued it =
back together over and over again, only to have it fall apart in a few =
weeks. I've not seen a solution for displaying puppets in an attractive, =
orderly way, so am seeking ideas from the vast resources of this =
network. TIA
