We have the magazines from 1950 - sometimes they are used for an = assignment in science. Recently a science teacher had the students find = an article about geology, summarize it in their own words and write a = bibliography. The students had to attach a copy of the article. It = sounds pretty basic but it's a good introductory assignment. When we = have duplicates we send them to our Visual Arts dept. or donate them to = a book sale. We've also given them to READ Commission ESL classes. The = website that Joyce recommends looks terrific.
