Off topic: Naming a place

Hi All,
I have a question for you that you may be able to help direct me in solving.

My family is trying to pursue naming a place in Antarctica after a member of
our family. Although our reasons are personal, it is important to us to try to
make this happen. So far, there have been, I guess, politcal reasons that
this cannot happen. Is there anyone with associations or leads for contacts that
may head us in the right direction for getting this accomplished?

Please respond to me personally if you have any suggestions.
