I LOVE belonging to this list - I get so many great leads to fantastic resources that are just not available here. My library throw rug from Bytes'n'Grins arrives this week and I cannot wait to hang it in my library when we go back to school on Monday after the winter break. Over time, I have been able to build up a tiny collection of character dolls and teddies as I have seen them available here but I was hoping that you might be able to point me to a more reliable and less spasmodic source. (Please don't say Demco as they will not process international orders under $US200). Is there an online 'shop" or is it a case of visiting the websites of the authors or the characters or what?? In connection with that, my kids still L-O-V-E Where's Wally by Martin Hannaford. I think he is Where's Waldo in the US and his website used to be www.findwaldo.com But I can not find him anywhere! Does anyone know of his new site, if there is one? I would love a Waldo doll to send on a world adventure over a year for my kids to track.
