Dear School Media Specialists---
The deadline for submitting an interest form to
be considered as a nominee in next year's ALA
Council elections is August 1.
To date, we've received only one candidate interest
form from a school media specialist. The ALA Nominating
Committee respectfully requests that you consider
getting involved as a Council candidate this year.
The only way to ensure that school library issues are
at the forefront of the ALA Council agenda is to have
school media specialists as delegates. This is your
opportunity to make sure this important point of view
is represented.
