NYLA Elections

This is a message for all New York State School Library Media Specialists
who are members of the New York Library Association.  Also, anyone out there
who is maintaining a NYLA membership but doesn't reside in New York State,
this is also for you.

The NYLA ballots are out and it's time for everyone to use their voice to
make sure that you have a say in who the leaders of NYLA will be.

Look at your ballots carefully and then, as a member of SLMS, vote for Rocco
Staino.  Rocco has been a library media specialist for many years.  He has
served in a position of leadership in SLMS, his school district and he has
served on many AASL committees.  Rocco has what it takes to lead NYLA and
its members.  Rocco has many excellent qualifications that will make him an
excellent NYLA President.  He has the will.  He has the desire.  He has the
background.  He is a leader and he is a member of SLMS.

So, get those ballots out and vote for Rocco!

And if you're not a member of NYLA and SLMS, please join!  We need you.
