TECH: Help with bullets in Word

I need some advice on fixing a technical problem with bullets in a Word
document.  The bullets on the printed document show up as question marks,
even though they don't look like question marks on the screen.  In other
words, the bullets change into question marks during the printing process.
I have tried changing the format under the theme options and the bullets
still come up as question marks.  If you can help, please reply to me
directly.  Many thanks!
