It has become very evident to the teachers at our school that most of the kids leaving for middle school have no idea how to "study" or even what the concept is. Have any of you implemented a "study skills" program at school, or know of such a program we might adopt? About a decade ago, our staff went through a "models of teaching" program that dealt with mnemonics and other devices, but I was wondering if there was something specifically created for the elementary aged child. Any program, book would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
