Re: LM_Net at conferences. I think this is a GREAT idea! I would go.
I would help. I would enjoy it! Years ago.. I helped arrange for an
LM_Net ice cream social at our Florida state media conference (Florida
Assn. for Media in Education = FAME) It was literally YEARS ago..
LM_Net was small. I thought people would come to hear about LM_Net. they
mostly came to have ice cream! Sponsors paid for the ice cream. and we
did get to promote LM_Net. It was fun. but we are a much larger group
now. and having a panel or group discussion would be much better! To
have that as part of AASL is a wonderful idea! Interesting.. Just an
hour ago I visited the ALA and AASL web sites.thinking that it's time
for me to join those organizations. and go to some of the conferences!
Go for it!!! Both of them. and if at all possible. I will help! Katie
