Hello, I will be the new Information Power Chair for New Hampshire Educational = Media Association next year. I wondered if you would help me understand what = is going on with this movement nationally. I have been active in this = movement since 1989 when I was on the first state committee. I have a colleague = who told me that she feels that it is the quietest movement imaginable. = Could you tell me your thoughts on a few points: Do you know of any support from AASL for Info Power? What is your state doing to support Information Power? What are you doing and where are you going with Information Power? Is there any area of our country that seems to be really moving in this direction? Do you think it is the quiet movement?? I have tons of ideas but before I start moving I feel I need more of a national perspective.
