Waynesville R-VI School District has an opening for a middle school =
library media specialist for the 2003-2004 school year.=20

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree, Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate, =
Valid Missouri Certification as Library Media Specialist (Out-of-state =
applicants should be willing to apply for MO certification as LMS.)

Waynesville R-VI School District is located in the beautiful Ozarks region =
of south central Missouri. We are on I-44 only two hours west of St. Louis =
and one hour east of Springfield, MO.  The district encompasses the towns =
of Waynesville, St. Robert, and the US Army Installation at Fort Leonard =
Wood for a total of 5200 students. We are looking for an energetic individu=
al to implement our integrated information literacy curriculum and promote =
technology as an instructional tool. Circulation and catalog are automated =
with Alexandria System from Companion Corporation.=20

Our district media and technology program is progressive and fully =
supported by a district educational media center providing cataloging, =
online services, and technical assistance. The current opening is for Wood =
Middle School, grades 6-8 with an enrollment of 589 students. The school =
has been completely remodeled, and the library media center is attractive =
and spacious. The materials collection is well-developed and =
administrative support is excellent.
