My teachers really enjoy the Bill Nye the Science Guy episodes I can
tape off air. However, since I need to discard/erase them after a
certain amount of time, I need to re-record them every year or so. I am
trying to locate them as commercially produced tapes. I check eBay
every once in awhile, and usually the only commercial episodes
available are the Human Body and Dinosaurs. Recently, I located someone
selling more than 30 episodes - "from their private collection, i.e.
not a previous rental" (separate auction listings for each episode, )
. There was no picture of the cover provided, and I'm a bit leery about
this. The description included this:
USED VHS IN VERY GOOD CONDITIONFROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION, NOT A
FORMER RENTAL.
Factorydemo vhs from Buena Vista Video.
Can someone tell me if these factorydemo copies are legit copies? Yes,
i've written to the seller, but have not heard back yet.
If they are legal copies (and can be used in the classroom, I'd love
to bid on some of them - unfortunately, some of the bids for some of
them are up to $25!)
