Why would this be good? We don't know the criteria for rating or the
expertise of those doing the rating. I sure don't know about George down
the street and his guidelines and expertise.

What about the ability of the group to be consistent or even keep up
with the content, which seems to be a key selling point of the lead
paragraph.


And I guess I'll have to tell all the 4th graders that Artemis Fowl is
now only for the 5th grade kids.

And, uh, Nick Jr. is rated 13+ with comments like "Playability: perfect
for alone-play for 4 -6year olds
Reading level: ability to read doesn't hurt, but kids can navigate fine
without" . And Nick.com is rated 8+. Couldn't possibly be an error,
right?

Interesting that cartoon network .com is rated 8+ and it has popup
adverts for games rated teen. Bet that would make parents comfortable,
and just slightly less pressured to buy it.
