could this be a misheard version of conundrum?? Here is a small collection from the web: http://www.angelfire.com/oh/abnorm/ The site above might or might not be suitable for kids...I didn't read all of it. People use conundrum and riddle interchangeably, but I was raised on conundrums from my father and I always thought the difference was that a conundrum is, by definition, unsolvable...they are meant to prompt a lot of thoughtful paradox-circling. Webster says this: Main Entry: co·nun·drum Pronunciation: k&-'n&n-dr&m Function: noun Etymology: origin unknown Date: 1645 1 : a riddle whose answer is or involves a pun 2 a : a question or problem having only a conjectural answer b : an intricate and difficult problem Best, k http://www.kathleenduey.com author/speaker info, best bookstores, more. http://www.theunicornssecret.com Unicorns!!! Adventure!! Mystery! for 2-3rd graders True Heart-- just released!!! http://www.timesoldiers.com dinosaurs, pirates, adventures in time... a wholly different picture book series. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
