ELEM: school-wide book club ideas

Hello all...

I'm looking for some fun and interesting ideas for
next fall to get my students reading more. I tried a
school-wide club this spring with much success and I
would like to continue the program with a different
theme for next fall. I'd like to focus more on
genres--have the students read so many books from
certain genres. I'm hoping this will expand their
reading a bit. If anyone has tried a "genre club" and
they would be willing to share their ideas, I'd love
to hear from you!
