Last summer I read all the Big Stone Gap novels by Adriana Trigiani.
All fun, easy reads that follows one woman through three stages in her
life--Big Stone Gap tells the story of how Ave Maria Mulligan, the town
spinster, found love. Big Cherry Holler tells the story of Ave and
Jack's marriage, and Milk Glass Moon considers motherhood through Ave
Maria's eyes. Great eccentric southern characters and quick, easy
reads. I finished one and couldn't wait to read the next. After
finishing the third, I frequently cruise the Internet looking for word
of when the movie will be cast and finally shot...it is being written
and directed by the author herself!
