One of our schools is interested in purchasing a video editing system.
Its requirements are fairly basic: inputing of digital video, selecting
clips, inserting transitions, minimal multitrack audio, and exporting
the finished product to VHS tape.
Have any of you had experience with Macs and video editing?
If so, will the Mac meet these minimal requirements?
Can video editing be done 'out of the box', or is additional hardware
and/or software needed?
Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated!
