Elem: Planning Inquiry Project for First Grade

I will be meeting on Tuesday with my first grade team to plan a new Social
Studies Inquiry Unit, "Meet My Friend" which is about children of other
cultures.  We will be using Toni Buzzeo's collaboration model from her book,
Collaborating to Meet Standards: Teacher/Librarian Partnerships K-6, as we prepare 
for
this inquiry unit.

In the past I have used the the Big6 Model for research and the Trash 'N
Treasure Method for notetaking.  I would like to know what most of you are using
at this level.
What kinds of graphic organizers are you using?  How much bibliographic
information do you require at this level, etc.

Any information and/or websites would be helpful since I will be sharing this
information with my team.
