My second favorite: Deborah Stanley has a series of books called "Practical
Steps to the Research Process for _______ School" (fill in the blank with
Elementary, Middle or High - she's done all three).

It gives great explanations and examples of many graphic organizers,
which I believe is what was being referred to in your quote. They have
been recommended over and over in the class I am taking.
