I am running a workshop on effective integration of technology in the curriculum on the first day back of school (19th April for us) and I am wanting to locate a short story that I remember reading in my studies at CSU not too long ago ...it goes like this.... A teacher requested something, which she didn't get, but got a large boulder placed in her room, at first she didn't know what to do with it and went through a number of uses for it and eventually over time it became an integral part of what she did, and then when they wanted to take it away she complained how she couldn't do without it. Does this ring a bell with anyone? if so..do you know who wrote and and if you know where I could find it?? I thought it may have been Jamie Mckenzie, Doug Johnson or Gary Hartzell, but I haven't been able to locate it after a long time searching.
