Actually, I agree with some other responses that you should just discard
them quietly and discreetly.  Most people do not believe in discarding
"perfectly good material" - even if it is out-dated.

Subject: TARGET: used book sales worthwhile?

Hi all,

I've been weeding like crazy over the past two months, and my principal
has asked me to find out the profitability of having a book sale.  We
are a small high school of 300 with a very small budget, so it would be
great if we could raise some money for the library.  Has anybody had a
very successful book sale?  Can you share the perks and pitfalls of
these sales?
