Thank-you all!

This thread is only one reason why I love this list. Many approaches would work 
here, but I throw my own opinion in with those who give students credit for their 
own creativity and ability to adapt.

I'd like to suggest that this is an excellent opportunity to have students teach. 
Why not ask the classroom teacher for a few minutes to have her class teach you 
their system? Then some of the potential drawbacks could be pointed out (or 
not...you could always do a follow-up if problems occurred).

I'd like to think that somewhere out there is a better organizational tool than 
dewey, lc, etc lust waiting to come out of someone's mind. Why not encourage that 
process?
