Elem: Gail Gibbons Author Visit

Hi Everyone!

Our school will be honored with a visit by Gail Gibbons this Spring.
Since this is my first year as librarian and my first author visit
coordination, I was hoping some of you could share any insights you have
gained from your own author visits.  I'm also specifically looking for
ways to welcome her to our school like banners, displays etc.  I will be
spending about the month prior to her visit sharing her books with the
whole school (K-4) but would also like to do some activities with them to
display.  Any ideas?  Thanks so much for your help1
