We have WebPath Express, and it is very good product. The only problem with
WebPath Express is that the high school students I teach are inclined to begin
their searches with Google or Yahoo, instead of with the on-line catalog. I can
start the class by showing them how and why to use the on-line catalog for their
topics, and that helps some to retard the jump to Google or Yahoo, but I don't see
it carrying over to the next research the student does.
I like WebPath Express; I like the concept of having the World Wide Web as a
part of my on-line catalog, and I'll continue to promote it at every turn as a
sensible alternative to the disorganization and randomness of Google and Yahoo.
However, the students are going to google.
