My understanding about performances is that you buy performance rights separately from taping rights. So it is against copyright to tape school performances unless taping rights were also purchased. I think there is some loophole about taping for teacher review after the performance but that is all. Is this a correct understanding? Hopefully the experts can help me out. Thanks.
