Carole,

In my school, we have a photo permission that is on the students'
emergency cards, where the parents mark whether the school has
permission to take and use photos of their child. I would assume most
schools have something similar.

I believe you would be breaking copyright for the music as well.
Perhaps you could tell the office staff that "I'd love to share the
wonderful talent show with our parents, but it would be breaking
copyright to do that, and I don't want to get the school into any
trouble over this."
