I ran into an image breaking discussion last year.  I am the librarian at a
middle school and also coach several sports after school.  One morning after
a soccer match, I saw one of the volley ball players that share our bus on
away trips.  I told her I enjoyed the trip yesterday afternoon and she just
looked at me...  I was back in my dress cloths and tie.  The previous
afternoon I was in warm weather coaches attire and she did not recognize me.
She said, " you can't be a soccer coach, you are a librarian!"  I love to
tell this story.  I am moving on to a high school next year and hope to
continue coaching, while surprising more students.  Even the middle school
athletic director said at the staff meeting, " where am I supposed to find
another librarian that coaches soccer and basketball?"
