Is it possible to use a firewire port on an HDTV to record HD signals =
from the TV (with HD going into it, of course) onto a computer's hard =
drive or a DVR that records HD or an HD VCR?
A Mediacom cable rep that I talked to today said that he was unable to =
record onto a computer's hard drive. The message that he got was that =
additional software was needed, but when he called the manufacturer, he =
could not find anyone to talk to him about this.
If it is not possible to use the firewire port, what do you use to =
receive HD signals to record onto an HD/digital VCR?
