Sorry it has taken me so long to post a hit. Thanks to all who responded to=
my question about student dress codes and success in the classroom. Many p=
eople responded and gave me places or suggestions to find research. I went =
to our Gale, Ebsco and Newsbank data bases. We also had articles from ERIC.=
We found a lot of information, but none that proved unequivocally that stu=
dents have better success if they follow a strict dress code or have unifor=
ms. Of course, that was what we did not want. We wanted to be able to show =
our students and parents that they did need to follow a strict dress code.
