MIDDLE: Dr. Sparks, anonymous books

I'm in graduate school working on Library Science, and this is my =
fifteenth year teaching language arts, currently in eighth grade. For =
the last seven in NC, I've used two novels edited by Dr. Beatrice =
Sparks, IT HAPPENED TO NANCY and ANNIE'S BABY. Has anyone else taught =
these or any other of her teen diaries? Having recently read in one of =
my textbooks that these couldn't possibly be "anonymous", what do you =
think? Anyone had a challenge?
