Glad to read of your success. We use planners for everything. No one moves in the building without a planner- and that includes guidiance appointments. etc. It also costs $5.00 to replace a lost one. We do have some students who refuse to pay which means they are unable to go anywhere except class. It does prevent them from coming to the library - but that is their choice. It does work wonders for management and attendance purposes. It is now 8.30 AM and I have already signed 30 agenda books for students to come to the library during their study time - everything must be presigned for any student to move within the building. I also require them to request using "May I" and "please" - Some may believe I am being stubborn but it is amazing how differently they treat the library and its staff and each other - politeness counts!
