I am turning once again to the collective wisdom of LM_NET. I have a request from a teacher for "multicultural science books." This has stumped me. I have thought of using science books from the 500 section that feature a multicultural group of children. I have also thought of really stretching it and using a folk tale such as Anansi and using it for the study of spiders. We are a K-2 building so the books would have to be picture books or basic nonfiction books. Thanks for any help you can provide.
