The book you are seeking is Information Power, and should be available
from ALA Publications. However if ALA is out of stock, I am aware that AECT
(Association for Educational Communications and Technology, copyright co-holder
with ALA), has copies in their warehouse and can be ordered from Barbara at
877-677-2328 toll free at the office.
Linda Williams, AASL President elect is expecting to have a new edition
edited in her term in 2006 and AECT has also contacted AASL offices last summer
to ask about the timetable on this copyright project.

I have been asked to supply a copy of the American Library Association
standards and to show how our library meets those standards. I am having trouble
locating such a document. I called the ALA and was referred to their web
site. I searched the web site and have found references to standards but no
listing of standards. I also found a different phone number to call at ALA but
they did not know how to help me.
Any suggestions?
Does a list of ALA standards exist?
