There is a fantastic web site that lists Children's Books in a Series.
(There is one for adult books too.) The one for children's books can be
accessed at www.monroe.lib.in.us/childrens/serieslist.html. I use this
regularly for keeping track of series books. Also, our automation program
tracks books by the name of the series as another title during a title
search. This feature allows us to pull up a list of what books we have in a
series, and cross check the list with another list. The only trick is you
have to be sure to have checked the option in our MARC record to trace the
