Colleagues, My PE department is looking to add a research component to their = multicultural dance unit. Currently, they divide students into smaller = groups and rotate them through activities on various folk dances of = countries of the world. (They do not want to dwell upon music of the = countries as the music department covers this topic extensively.) I have limited print resources on "games" people play in various = countries. I've searched online with limited success for other = multicultural dance ideas. I did stumble upon bandaloop dance (dancing = on the side of cliffs). It is new and very exciting and is the kind of = topic I would like have students investigate. Several other topics of = high interest would be good to have on hand for students to select from. Any suggestions you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
