Greetings from DC. Today, on Search Engine Watch and ResourceShelf (two sites I work on) I posted about a very cool and FREE piece of software from NASA and a group of open source volunteers called NASA World Wind that allows the user to use satellite and aerial images to "fly around the world." From the site: "World Wind lets you zoom from satellite altitude into any place on Earth. Leveraging Landsat satellite imagery and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data, World Wind lets you experience Earth terrain in visually rich 3D, just as if you were really there." Links and a bit more info here: http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/050405-121616 cheers, gary -- -- Gary D.
