I don't have time to think about burnout, but I can tell that I have
hit that stage already, and this is only my first year! I have doubled
the circulation of our books as well as the use of our computer lab.
There is never a dull moment. In addition, I have no assistant. The
more I do, the more that is expected. There are times when I am
managing the media center and the computer lab at the same time! I
have to constantly remind folks that I am only one person attempting to
serve 350! I know that there are some of you out there that serve more
people. I am so responsible for fixing all the technical problems with
the classroom computers and printers as well as the networking. I
would appreciate stress relief suggestions.
