[LM_NET] Target: Reading Interest survey

I have to start out by saying how much I LOVE this
list serv.  I haven't found anybody else in my school
that understand what I do, therefore I don't have
anyone to talk to...

Anyway, Do you use a beginning of the year reading
interest survey?  If so, have you found it helpful, or
more of a waste of time and paper?

Any additional advice is very welcom.
