Lesesne Professor of Library Science Sam Houston State University Huntsville, TX Author, MAKING THE MATCH: THE RIGHT BOOK FOR THE RIGHT READER AT THE RIGHT TIME (Stenhouse, 2003) lis_tsl@shsu.edu -----Original Message----- From: School Library Media & Network Communications [mailto:LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU] On Behalf Of Mary Jo Sent: Saturday, August 13, 2005 7:57 AM To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU Subject: Target: Business related books Hello knowledgeable group! Our reading teacher is looking for a read-aloud, preferably a chapter type book, for 5-7 graders dealing with business. Our school is in the process of teaching children about business--how to set up a small business, becoming familiar with terminology, learning organization skills and responsibility. I just couldn't think of any books that might be about kids having a business, but I knew a group that would. I'll post a hit of any responses. Thanks so much for your help!
